At Brandon's Whiskey Lake

This morning I hopped into my car and headed west on CR 82 from Alexandria to Brandon for a quick visit to Whiskey Lake (there are some lots on Whiskey that are under $100,000 and are around 2 acres). Whiskey is a smaller lake (159 acres) with a maximum depth of 46 feet but nearly half the lake is 15 feet or less in depth. The water clarity is 4 feet as reported by the Minnesota DNR in a 2007 survey. Most of the homes around Whiskey have been built fairly recently, especially on the northwest side along Whiskey Lake Drive which has some nice year round homes.
