Toni McCarten of McCarten Design in Alexandria, Minnesota has been the reigning champion in design on Alexandria's Chain of Lakes for quite some time. The properties she has touched either have the highest sale prices and/or are some, if not all, of the sweetest destinations on The Chain. She has done it again. Late Monday morning I was at my office editng video of acreage on Latoka and my iPhone buzzed. It was Toni and she asked if I'd like to meet her at her most recent project on Lake Carlos. So, Tuesday afternoon I was fortunate enough to spend an hour and a half with Toni as my guide. She has done it again and this one might be the best yet. The 644 square foot lakeside deck had me at hello.
