The Northeast Side of Lake Carlos
Late yesterday afternoon, I arrived early for a property showing on the northeast side of Lake Carlos as I love any time at Lake Carlos but particularly enjoy being there at this time of year as it is so quiet and the colors make me want to learn how to paint. For now, my artistic pursuits are confined to my cameras.
The iPhone's camera doesn't perform well in low light so in the 26 second video I shot it is appears darker than it actually was and the trees appear to be black. But, you do get to enjoy that the only noise is the water.
If you prefer a less boat traffic and quiet all year round, most will find the north end of Lake Carlos to their liking as most boats out for a cruise of The Chain will head east/west across the lake about half way up the lake as they travel north because of its size (from the Carlos-Darling Bridge to Carlos State Park it is about 5.2 miles).
Five properties on the northeast side of the lake are for sale right now with the list prices ranging from $399,000 to $700,000. The average list price for these five is $476,215.
