At Brandon's Whiskey Lake

This morning I hopped into my car and headed west on CR 82 from Alexandria to Brandon for a quick visit to Whiskey Lake (there are some lots on Whiskey that are under $100,000 and are around 2 acres). Whiskey is a smaller lake (159 acres) with a maximum depth of 46 feet but nearly half the lake is 15 feet or less in depth. The water clarity is 4 feet as reported by the Minnesota DNR in a 2007 survey. Most of the homes around Whiskey have been built fairly recently, especially on the northwest side along Whiskey Lake Drive which has some nice year round homes.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Look no further than Lake Irene for a Christmas gift within the MLS. The 2 lots for sale are the best buys for someone looking to build on a lake or for someone looking for an investment. Also, on Whiskey Lake there are a couple lots that are tough to resist. Like the lots on Irene, these are large (acre plus) lake lots. Whiskey is not a big lake (157 acres) but it is a clean lake 12 miles west of Alexandria that has plenty of walleyes. The prices for the Whiskey lots were dropped right before Christmas by over 30% and are now $89,900.

Whiskey is 157 acres with a maximum depth of 46 feet and a median depth of 12 feet. Located 12 miles west of Alexandria, it has good populations of walleyes and bass.
