LAKE OSAKIS

Lake Osakis is located 9 miles east of Alexandria, Minnesota in the city of Osakis and is bordered on the south side by the city. The lake is mostly developed with lake homes and resorts along the eastern and northern shores. The west side is largely undeveloped farm land with some lake development.

The surface area of the Lake Osakis is 6,270 acres with a maximum depth of 67 feet. Lake Osakis is a great for fishing for walleye, northern pike and largemouth bass. Each year, the Osakis Lions sponsors a walleye tournament.
